Since 1996 Mojo is one of the few touring Blues band in the whole Alsace region, Jipes (Lead vocals / guitar), Raphy (bass) and Mitch (drums) have done more than 200 gigs. Mojo is paying a tribute to the music of such great Blues icones as Buddy Guy , B.B King, Ry Cooder or the Fabulous T-birds,




1996 - 2009: 13 years of Blues down the road
Since february 1996, the band has played numerous locations and venues in Alsace and outside France like the Atlantis and the Grand Casino in Basel (Switzerland), theBlue Monday in Freibourg (Germany) The Soenlin Jazz Keller in Müllheim (Germany). They open up for international artist among the Blues scene like: Popa Chubby, Calvin Russel, Alvin Lee or Jay Gordon as well as for french famous artist like JJ Milteau or Ange.

The music of Mojo is a mix of blues covers from Chicago shuffle to Texas rock'n roll with an addition of Blues/gospel "a la" Ry Cooder(favorite artist of Jipes).

All along these years the band had the same line-up (for the last 11 years). In february 2007 Ben is our new bass player since or bass player Raphy has taken another musical direction.

2009 is a new cornerstone for the band which is preparing a new demo with some original songs and hope to tour again intensively
